Esta vez también utilice un cuadro como base para el reto. La primera técnica se trata de crear texturas para la superficie, para lo que utilice papel corrugado, pero también se puede utilizar cajas de cartón.
This time also used a canvas as the base for the challenge. The first technique is to create textures surfaces, for that I used corrugated paper, but you can also used cardboard boxes.
La técnica se basa en pelar el papel de una parte para exponer el corrugado y para darle un efecto de viejo, después sobre ese papel cortar alguna forma de su agrado, en mi caso utilice el cortador Feather Duo de Sizzix, me dio un poco de trabajo porque como era doble tuve que jugar mucho con el para que me salieran solo las plumas que yo quería.
For this technique you have to peel the paper from the top layer to show the corrugated part to give it a vintage effect, after that you can cut any shape you want, in my case I used the die cut Feather Duo from Sizzix, but it gave me a little work because they are double, so I have to play a lot with them to come out with only the feathers I wanted.
Para seguir dándole un efecto a viejo o rustico siguiendo las técnicas hay que pintar con Disstress inks el cartón y para un mayor efecto salpicarlo con algunos colores oscuros. En este caso para pintar el cartón utilice los Distress Walnut stain, Brushed corduroy y Gathered twigs y para las manchas de salpicadura use, tinta china negra, blanca y marrón y para darle más intensidad use Perfect Pearls Mists sunflower sparkle.
To keep giving it a distress effect or a rustic one, you can paint the cardboard with Distress ink and for a greater effect you can splatter it with some dark colors. In this case the distress I used on the cardboard were Walnut stain, Brushed corduroy y Gathered twigs and fot the splatter stains I use chinese ink black, white and brown and to give more intensity I used Perfect Pearls Mists Sunflower Sparkle.

La segunda técnica usada usa cortadores para crear dimensión, para eso primero hay que color un papel sobre el cuadro, del diseño que uno quiera y sobre el papel pegar una cartulina donde se haya cortado con diferentes cortadores para darle forma, en mi caso utilice los cortadores de Spellbinders Butterfly Magic y Tudor Rose Card Front.
The second technique is call dimensional dies, first you have to glue some colored paper on the canvas, you can use any design you want, after that, on the paper, you glue some cardstock that has been cut with different dies to give it some shape, in my case I used the die cut from Spellbinders Butterfly Magic and Tudor Rose Card Front.
Como sobre este cartón vamos a pintar, para que el color se fije bien, primero hay que colocarle una pequeña capa de gesso. Hay que dejar que el gesso seque bien para poder pintar sobre el, yo generalmente lo dejo de un día para otro.
Because in this cardstock we are going to paint, for the color to set well, first you must place a thin layer of gesso. You have to let the gesso dry well to paint on, I usually leave it overnight.
Una vez seco utilice los gelatos de Mape, en la técnica se usan los crayones de Tim Holtz, pero lamentablemente a mi pais todavia no han llegado y no estoy segura de que vaya a llegar en mucho tiempo .... (Ｔ▽Ｔ), la idea es utilizar diferentes colores para que el conjunto sea colorido.
Once dry I used gelatos from Mape, in the technique they used the crayons fromTim Holtz, but unfortunately in my country you can not find them and I'm not sure if they are going to come at all .... (T ▽ T ). The idea of the technique is to use different colors so that the canvas is colorful.
Después de eso ya solo queda adornarlo un poco, para eso use una frase de Ranger, una hojita de otro proyecto, una mariposa de madera que pinte de negro y un poco de soguilla.
After that you have to embellish a bit, for that I used a phrase from a set of stamps from Ranger, a leaf from an another project, a wood butterfly that I painted black and a little jute rope.
