Tutorial - Cuaderno Personalizado / Customized Notebooks 2

Hoy día quería seguir mostrándoles los cuadernos que hice para regalar. Y junte tres cuadernos en los que use técnicas similares, pasta para dar textura y estenciles.

Today I wanted to keep showing you the books I did for gifts. And I took three notebooks in which I use similar techniques, texture paste and stencils.

En el primer cuaderno decidí utilizar acuarelas en tubo y elegí una combinación de colores que me parecieron un poco masculinos ya que el cuadernos era para un chico. Como les mencione antes para pintar con acuarelas, sea en tubo, en pastillas o usar colores acuarelables el papel es muy importante para lograr los colores corran, el cartón que use como base no era muy bueno para esta técnica pero con un poco de esfuerzo logre el efecto que quería.

In the first notebook I decided to use tube watercolors and choose a color combo that I think seemed a little male since the notebooks was for a guy. As I mentioned before to paint with watercolors, whether tube, pan or watercolor pencils, the paper is very important to achieve the colors to flow, the cardboard I use as a base was not very good for this technique but with a little effort I could achieve the effect I wanted.

Luego de que secaron los colores para darle algo de interés utilice un estencil de Tim Holtz (Bubbles) con pasta para texturizar que compre en una feria de scrapbooking, no recuerdo la marca. Ustedes que pasta utilizan? Lamentablemente en mi país no llegan las pastas de Tim Holtz, pero encontré algunas recetas caseras, alguien a preparado su propia pasta?. Luego pinte la pasta con  tinta distress squeezed lemonade.

After the colors dried, to give some interest I use the bubbles stencil from Tim Holtz  and texture paste that I bought at a scrapbook fair, I do not remember the brand. What paste do you used? Unfortunately in my country do not sell Tim Holtz paste, but I found some homemade recipes, someone prepared their own paste?. When the paste dried I paint it with distress ink squeezed lemonade.

Poco antes de Navidad una amiga de mi hermana mayor había viajado a EEUU y me pudo traer los sellos y los cortadores de la colección "Crazy Birds" de Tim Holtz, me encanto esa colección, pueden estar seguras que me verán usándola más seguido, realmente son muy versátiles. Para pintar utilice los marcadores distress, que pueden acuarelarse también con un poco de agua, en unos tonos azul para combinar con el fondo del cuaderno.

Shortly before Christmas a friend of my older sister traveled to the US and I was able to bring the stamps and die cuts from the Crazy Birds collection of Tim Holtz, I love this collection, you can be sure that I will be using it more often, really they are very versatile. To paint them I used distress markers, which may also be watercolor with a little water, I pick a blue tone to match the background of the notebook.

Luego coloque el nombre y lo uní todo con  la zutter "bind it all".
Then I glue the name and bind it with the Zutter "bind it all".

Para el siguiente cuaderno, empecé cubriendo la base con papel celeste claro con un diseño muy sutil para que no interfiriera con lo que quería colocarle encima. Utilice otro estencil de circulitos para darle textura alrededor del espacio que necesitaba para la figura que quería pegar y para la parte de atras utilice otro estencil con varias palabras.

For the next notebook, I began covering the base with light blue paper with a subtle design that would not interfere with what I wanted to place above. I used a stencil with circles and texture paste and create a space to glue the figure I was going to use, in the back I used another stencil with several words.

Luego le utilice varios colores de distress para darle un realce a la pasta y en el centro peque una muñequita que cree con la ayuda de la silohuette cameo y listo otro cuaderno.
Then I used several distress colors to give it more interest at the paste, in the center I glue a doll that I create with the help of the silohuette cameo and there you go another notebook.

Para el último cuaderno que quiero mostrarles hoy, como mencione al inicio utilice la técnica de estenciles y pasta para dar textura. Primero cubrí las tapas con papel rosado con un diseño muy suave para poder trabajar sobre él, pinte algunas sombras con colores naranjas y amarillos para colocar los gatitos que habia cortado para este cuaderno. Luego utilice dos estenciles para dar texturas alrededor de las figuras.

For the last notebook I want to show today, I used the same technique stencils and texture paste. First I covered the bases with pink paper with a very soft pattern, then I paint some shadows in orange and yellow colors to place the kittens I had cut for this notebook. Then I used two stencils to give texture around the figures.

Luego pegue los gatitos y listo otro cuaderno para regalar.
Then I glue the kittens and is ready, another notebook to give away.

Tutorial - Cuaderno Personalizado / Customized Notebooks

La verdad no sabia que editar fuera taaaaan difícil (ーー;), pero ahí estoy intentándolo ＼(^o^)／ ..... 

The truth is I did not know it what was soooo difficult to edit (ー ー;) but here I am trying \ (^ o ^) / .....

Hoy por fin pude terminar 3 vídeos de unos cuadernitos que siguen casi casi la misma técnica y me pareció buena idea juntarlos.

Today I finally finished 3 videos about the notebooks that follow very nearly the same technique and I thought It was a good idea to join the tutorials.

Este es el primer cuadernito, los materiales que use fueron gelatos, el negativo de un estencil, marcadores aquarelables y para el nombre lo corte con la Silohuette Cameo y polvo de embossing negro, para que brillara un poquito. Para unir todo use la zutter "bind it all".

This is the first notebook, the materials I used were gelatos, the negative of a stencil, watercolor markers and I cut the name with the Silhouette Cameo and I used black embossing powder to shine it a little. To bind it all I used the Zutter "bind it all".

Los primeros gelatos que encontré aquí en mi país (Perú) fueron estos de Maped, realmente son buenos si usas el papel adecuado, tiene que ser una cartulina un poco gruesa de aproximadamente 200g, si es cartulina acuarelable en la de 180 g funcionan bien. Ahora ya llegaron los gelatos de Faber Castell y algunos más baratitos de China que se venden en el centro de lima. Aquí les dejo un vídeo que hizo mi hermana comparando los tres, muy bueno.

The first gelatos I found in my country (Peru) were those of Maped they are really good if you use the right paper, it has to be a slightly heavier paper of approximately 200 g, if is watercolor cardstock 180 g work well. Now you can find the gelatos of Faber Castell and some cheapie from China that are sold in downtown Lima. Here is a video made by my sister comparing the three of them is very good.

 

Para este cuaderno elegí tonos rojos y amarillos y use una cartulina acuarelable de 180  g. Los gelatos son fáciles de usar para esta técnica, use los colores por toda la pagina y con un pincel de agua los fui mezclando y uniendo.

For this notebook I choose red and yellow tones and I used a 180 g watercolor cardstock. The gelatos are very easy to work for this technique, I color all the paper with the gelatos and with a brush of the water I mix and blend them.

 

Una vez ya seco use el estencil de forma inversa delineando todo el estencil con un marcador negro y luego rellene todas las lineas para tener el dibujo del estencil y poder pintarlo.

After it was dry I outlining the stencil I want to used with a black marker and then fill all the lines to get the drawing and get the picture to paint.

 

Para pintar las flores use marcadores acuarelables, es decir que uno puede usar agua para unir los colores, los dos marcadores que use fueron los marcadores de Tim Holtz que puede encontrar en la última feria de scrap que hubo aquí en Lince, y los marcadores Zig Art & Graphic que tuve la dicha de encontrar aquí en una tienda de arte en Miraflores (el Angel) y a un buen precio.

To paint the flowers I use watercolor markers, the two markers I used were markers from Tim Holtz that I could find in the last scrap fair of scrapbook I went, and Zig Art & Graphic Twin markers I had the good fortune to find here in an art shop in Miraflores and at good price too.

Ya para la parte de atrás utilice unos sellitos de flores Inkadinkado en negro.

For the back I used flowers stamps from a set of Inkadinkado with black ink.

Para el segundo cuadernito use tintas en alcohol que prepare con tintas chinas winsor & newton que encontre en la misma tienda de arte en miraflores y un estencil de mandala que compre en una de las ferias de manualidades.

For the second notebook I used alcohol inks prepared with Chinese inks Winsor & Newton that I found in the same art shop in Miraflores and a mandala stencil I bought in a craft fairs.

Para esta técnica mezcle las tintas chinas con alcohol, primero eche el alcohol y luego fui añadiendo las tintas hasta lograr los colores que quería, luego solo rocié la mezcla sobre un papel acuarelable de 180 g.

For this technique I mix chinese ink with alcohol, first I put the alcohol on the sprayer and then I added the ink until the color was what I wanted,  then I sprayed the mix on a 180 g watercolor cardstock paper.

 

Luego coloqué el estencil y use la tinta Tim Holtz® Distress Ink color Black Soot y para darle algo de dimensión al diseño use un lapicero blando de gel en algunas partes. Y para la parte de atrás use unos sellitos de mandala pequeños de la colección Stitches de BoBunny.

Then I put the stencil and I used Tim Holtz® Distress ink Black Soot and to give some dimension to the design I used a white soft gel pen in some parts. And for the back I used a small stamp from BoBunny Mandala Stitches collection.

Este es último cuadernito que quiero mostrarles, para este use las misma tintas Winsor & Newton con alcohol pero en lugar de rociarlas pinte con ellas, y para el diseño use un estencil de pavo real que corte con la Silohuette Cameo.

This is the last notebook I want to show you today, I used the same alcohol inks I prepared with Winsor & Newton Inks but instead of spray them I painted with them, and for the design I used a peacock stencil that I cut with the Silhouette Cameo.

El proceso es similar a los otros cuadernos, para darle un rico color negro use la tinta Tim Holtz® Distress Ink color Black Soot  y mi infaltable lapicero blanco de gel para darle dimensión al pavo real.

The process is very similar to the other notebooks, to give it a rich black color, I used Tim Holtz® Distress Ink Black Soot  and my indispensable white gel pen to add dimension to the peacock.

 

Para la parte de atrás use unos sellos de Inkadinkado que me gustaron mucho.

To the back I used some stamps from Inkadinkado that I liked a lot.

This is the last video that I could edit so far.

Hello everyone, I hope that all of you have enjoyed these holidays with your family, friends and this year bring the best for everyone.

Por fin estoy regresando a mi ritmo, después de correr con los regalos de navidad y la locura de las fiestas, me tome una semanita de descanso, pero paso tan rapido, ya el Lunes a trabajar (Ｔ▽Ｔ), lo bueno es que me tendrán mas seguido por aquí ... jajajaja...
After running with the handmade christmas gifts and the holiday madness I'm finally getting back to my pace. To relax a little I took a week off, but it pass sooo fast, this monday I return to work (T ▽ T), but the good thing is that I will be posting more frequently now that the madness has passed ... lol ...

Como les había comentado este Navidad había sido muy ambiciosa, me decidí por regalar cuadernos personalizados y los empecé desde cero (o_O), jejeje, compre cuadernillos de papel y cartón grueso para armarlos y con la ayuda de la zutter "bind it all" los cerré, la verdad no se como los termine en dos semanas .... jajajaja ...(@_@), pero lo logre.
As I had mentioned in the previous post, this Christmas I was a little bit ambitious with my handmade christmas gifts. I decided to give custom notebooks and started them from scratch (o_O) lol, I bought the paper and cardboard to assemble them and with the help of the Zutter "bind it all" I put everything together, the truth is I don´t know how I could finished them in two weeks, really it was a race .... hahaha ... (@ _ @), but I made it.

Imagínense todo empezó así con producción en masa.
Imagine all started with mass production.

Cada cuaderno tiene tutorial, ya sea en foto o en vídeo y en estas semanas voy a estar editándolos para colocarlos poco a poco en el blog.
Each notebook has a tutorial, either in photo or video and in the next weeks I will be editing them to place them gradually in the blog.

Este año quiero hacer varias cositas con el blog, tengo algunas ideas para algunos tutoriales para mostrarles los materiales que he encontrado aquí en Perú y que me han servido bien y que no son muy caros y me estoy animando a participar del reto de las 12 tags de Tim Holtz, que opinan? alguien ya se ha animado a participar.
This year I want to do several things with the blog, I have some ideas for some tutorials to show the materials that I found here in Peru and have work well for me and they are not very expensive. Also I am encouraging to participate in the challenge of the 12 tags of Tim Holtz, what do you think? someone has already try it, I really will like your comments on this...
